FAQ and what you need
answers to your questions
If you have questions about the site or what happens around it, you can find many of the answers here – if you don’t find the answer, you are of course always welcome to contact the reception.
Please inform us of vandalism, dripping taps, nuisance disturbances and other unfortunate circumstances that require our immediate attention – this can be done at the reception or by calling the camp manager on the phone number below.

Arrival
We look forward to welcoming you to Rosenvold Strand Camping!
You can arrive at our campsites from 2pm, giving you plenty of time to find your pitch, pitch your tent or get your caravan ready before your vacation really begins.
If you’ve rented one of our rental units, you can only check in from 15:00. This allows us to get the units ready so you can enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay from the first minute.
Departure
In low season – payment must be settled before 11am. You must be ready to leave the pitch at 12 noon, as the pitch may be booked by someone else. If no one comes, it is possible to stay a little extra so that the pitch is vacated by 15:00. Rented cabins, mobile homes, safari tents, caravans and tents must be vacated by 11 am.
In high season – settled and vacated no later than 12 noon. Rented cabins, mobile homes, safari tents, caravans and tents must be vacated by 11 am.
Store opening hours
During low season, opening hours may vary, so be sure to check the sign on the door. In high season we are open every day from 08:00 to 20:00.
Although the shop may be closed on some days during the low season, campsite guests can always visit the reception or information desk to order or pick up bread.

Opening hours Reception/information
Low season:

Weekdays: 09:30-11:00 and 14:00-17:00

Weekend: 09.00-17.00
High season:

All days: 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-18:00
Arrival is possible from 13:00-21:30 or by appointment.
Opening hours may change continuously as needed, but will be updated on the board by the door.

Defibrillator
There is an AED in front of the store. In case of cardiac arrest, call 112 and get the defibrillator.
Chemical toilet and wastewater
Empty in the marked area at service buildings C and D.
The Square
The site must be quiet between 23:00 and 07:00. Music, TV and loud talking must not disturb other guests.
During this time it is also not allowed to drive around the site.
Please be considerate – some guests, both children and adults, go to bed early.
Bathing facilities
Our shower facilities are located in Service Building C. In the men’s and women’s department, hot water in the showers is activated by card or chip: The hot water will be activated for 2 minutes – then it must be activated by chip or card. The regular showers are included in your stay.
In Service Area D there are 3 rooms with oilet and shower. Dkk 5,- coin is used here. You get about 3 minutes of hot water in the shower.
For the family pools in Service Building C, the chip or card is used to open the door: this costs DKK 20. In the family pools you have access to your own toilet and there is no time limit on the hot water.
If access to the disabled facilities is required, this must be communicated upon arrival.
Waste
Please drop off your waste at Service Building B and sort it into metal, cardboard & paper, plastic and glass. All other waste must be in closed, clear waste bags and is considered residual waste. Cardboard boxes must be packed together before they are handed in.
Bulky waste must be disposed of at your own expense and must not be placed by the containers.
Motorhome emptying and water filling
It is possible to empty gray water, chemical toilets and fill water for both motorhomes and caravans.
These facilities are located at Service Building D at the end of Rosenvej.
Ball games and kite flying
Refer to the beach area in front of the campsite.
Access card
The cards and/or chips provided for the site facilities and the barrier are only for the use of the registered campers on the site and may not be lent to others.
If you need some for lending – please contact the reception.
Store
In our shop you’ll find everything that makes camping life easier and more enjoyable. Here you can buy groceries, cold drinks, snacks and of course freshly baked bread.
Bread should be ordered the day before to make sure there is exactly what you want. Some days we bake extra.
Day visitors to campers
Day guests are always welcome at Rosenvold Strand Camping.
The price is DKK 15 per person and all guests are asked to sign in at the reception upon arrival.
Parking is at the entrance to the marina and guests must leave the site no later than 22:30.
Electricity
Billing is based on the daily rate.
When an electricity meter is handed out, it must be connected to the electricity stand – not the caravan.
(Applies to ACSI guests and permanent residents.)
Common areas
The marquee, pavilion and large cabin are all communal areas that can be rented.
Smoking is prohibited in all our buildings and the party tent area during events.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome on site. They must be kept on a leash everywhere and their waste must be disposed of. There is a dog run behind the campsite where dogs can be let loose and run around. Be aware of the signals the dogs send if there are other dogs around. Use of the dog run is at your own risk.
Driving
All driving on the campsite must be done at walking pace, max 10 km. Driving on the campsite must be limited.
Parking space
At the marina. Night parking in extension of the store (between 21:00 and 08:00). Day and night parking opposite the store all day.
Laundry
The washing machine and dryer are located in the corner of the Information Building in the gable end. It costs 45 DKK per wash/drying. This is paid in the store.
